Full log

VeriPrep now feels more polished across the whole app

2 April 2026

Shipped

We shipped a broad UI refresh across VeriPrep to make the product feel cleaner, more consistent, and easier to use day to day. Core screens across setup, home, study, review, profile, library, and admin-facing areas were refined so the app feels more coherent and finished as the beta experience matures.

The website now matches the app more closely

12 April 2026

Shipped

Navigation, footer, homepage, feedback, privacy, terms, and update pages have all been refreshed so the public site feels much closer to the actual VeriPrep beta. We also updated the icon and social preview imagery so the product looks more consistent wherever it appears.

Dark mode and core study surfaces are easier to use

24 April 2026

Shipped

Key parts of the product now read more clearly in darker themes, including setup inputs, home actions, profile areas, library surfaces, and loading states. It is a visual pass, but it directly improves day-to-day usability.

Starting a new topic now feels cleaner and more reliable

1 May 2026

Shipped

We fixed a setup issue that could interrupt the Continue step when starting a fresh topic. Suggested and custom subjects now move smoothly into topic setup, making the path into study feel more dependable.

Under the hood, the beta is stronger than it looks

6 May 2026

Shipped

We’ve also made quieter improvements to the systems behind VeriPrep, including account migration and sync handling, feedback delivery, admin follow-up flows, topic and session safeguards, and the backend paths that support research-backed study. Most of this work is invisible by design, but it helps the app feel more stable and trustworthy as the beta grows.

Longer study runs now recover more cleanly when something slows down

1 April 2026

Shipped

Extended mock tests and revision runs now handle temporary slowdowns more smoothly, so sessions are less likely to drop out partway through.

Practice sessions feel steadier during busy beta testing

Feedback and follow-up study routes feel more direct

You can now rate whether a source was helpful

29 March 2026

A quick helpful or not-helpful option is now available around source evidence, making it easier to tell us which references are genuinely useful during study.

Library and document sections now show clearer loading states

29 March 2026

Shipped

Waiting moments in saved materials and topic document areas now feel more obvious and less ambiguous, so the app feels steadier while content loads.

Document-led study gives you clearer source-mode choices

29 March 2026

When you upload your own material, you now have clearer control over whether to stay focused on your documents or blend them with broader sources in the same run.

Core study journeys now have stronger automated regression coverage

29 March 2026

Shipped

The main student journeys are now checked more systematically, helping us catch setup and study-flow regressions earlier before they reach learners.

The website now reflects the real beta experience

27 March 2026

The website now explains the product the way beta testers actually use it today: free beta accounts, multiple topic workspaces, a faster first run, and follow-up study tools that stay tied to the same topic.

A new study library is easier to reach from the main app

27 March 2026

Shipped

Saved flashcards, uploaded documents, and your question bank are easier to reopen from one visible library area instead of feeling tucked away in older profile-only views.

Topic workspaces now do more of the heavy lifting

Each topic now acts more like a real study home, with mock tests, weak-area review, notes, flashcards, and saved material all living closer together.

Uploaded documents are easier to reuse in study sessions

27 March 2026

Shipped

Documents linked to a topic are easier to bring back into study steps, so your own notes and revision sheets can keep helping after the first upload.

Bundle D shipped: branding looks cleaner and live tests feel more focused

25 March 2026

Shipped

The VeriPrep logo now sits more cleanly across the app, branding in the app and navigation feels tidier, and active test screens use a darker backdrop to keep your attention on the question in front of you.

25 March 2026

Shipped

The logo now appears more consistently across the app, with cleaner sizing and placement wherever it shows up. The overall look feels more finished and intentional.

Your profile area is tidier and easier to browse

25 March 2026

Shipped

Stats and achievements in the profile area are now laid out more clearly so they are easier to scan at a glance. The layout feels less cluttered, making it simpler to find what you are looking for.

Mock tests now offer more control and clearer short-answer marking

24 March 2026

Shipped

Mock test setup now supports MCQ-only, essay-only, and mixed runs, including 50-question timed and untimed options. Short-answer responses also give clearer scoring feedback and flag uncertain results more carefully instead of sounding overconfident.

Bundle A shipped: safer access and clearer consent before you start

24 March 2026

Shipped

Sign-in and first-use steps now feel more straightforward, with clearer language around permission and account use before you begin studying. The goal is simple: easier access with stronger trust from the start.

Bundle B shipped: navigation and profile areas are easier to use

24 March 2026

Shipped

Moving around the app now feels more consistent, with cleaner layout choices in key screens and a tidier profile experience. Common actions are easier to find, so students can get to study faster with less back-and-forth.

Bundle C shipped: deeper practice with better study controls

24 March 2026

Shipped

Practice now supports more ways to run question sessions, including different question styles and more control over what goes into a test. You can also include your own saved questions and choose to leave out sources you do not want used in a session.

Question generation is more reliable when a check is unavailable

24 March 2026

Shipped

We fixed a generation issue that could leave some runs hanging instead of returning content. When an extra checking step is temporarily unavailable, VeriPrep now falls back cleanly so study content still comes through.

You can now tell VeriPrep which sources to ignore for a run

24 March 2026

Shipped

Feature setup now includes an optional ignore list, so you can exclude specific sites or phrases from being used when creating mock tests, flashcards, study notes, revision pointers, and summaries.

Your own questions can now be mixed into practice tests

Short-answer questions stay visible above the keyboard on mobile

24 March 2026

Shipped

Text input fields in short-answer questions now scroll into view and stay above the keyboard on mobile devices, so you can always see what you are typing without the box being hidden behind the screen keyboard.

Terms and conditions step added before first use

24 March 2026

Shipped

New users now see a clear step to accept the terms of service before starting. This keeps the consent process straightforward and transparent.

Wording across the app has been reviewed and clarified

24 March 2026

Shipped

Phrasing in several parts of the app has been updated to feel clearer and more consistent. A few areas that previously used ambiguous or overly technical language have been rewritten in plain English.

Authenticity checks are now clearer and more careful on fast-moving topics

23 March 2026

Shipped

We updated VeriPrep's approach to accuracy and added clearer handling for topics that move quickly or involve genuine debate. The app can now flag fast-moving or contested subjects more explicitly, so students get better context when a topic needs extra care.

Flashcard exports are now cleaner and more useful

23 March 2026

Shipped

You can now download a single card or your whole deck as images directly from the flashcard view. Saving a deck to your profile is a one-tap action. The cards themselves have been updated to match the current VeriPrep look and include the app logo.

An error that occasionally prevented mock tests from generating was fixed

23 March 2026

Shipped

Some test generation requests were failing after the first attempt. The cause was a response formatting edge case that has now been resolved. Tests should generate reliably on the first try.

Topic choices stay with the study mode you selected

23 March 2026

Shipped

A selection issue was fixed so topic picks do not carry over into other parts of the study flow when you switch tasks.

Study setup is shorter and easier to follow
