Beta Notice

VeriPrep is currently in public beta. Features may change, be unavailable, or be updated without notice. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific exam board, subject, or level.

Do not rely on VeriPrep as your sole source of exam preparation. Always verify important information against official specifications, teacher guidance, and exam-board materials.

1. About VeriPrep

VeriPrep is an AI-powered study and mock test platform operated under the name VeriPrep. These Terms apply to your use of the VeriPrep website, app, and all related features and services, including mock tests, explanations, flashcards, study notes, and document tools.

2. Who Can Use VeriPrep

VeriPrep is intended for users aged 13 and over. The current beta is available to adult testers aged 18 and over. Users aged 13–17 must review these Terms with a parent or guardian before using the service. Children under 13 must not use VeriPrep.

By using VeriPrep you confirm that you meet these age requirements.

3. Educational Use Only

VeriPrep is an educational support tool for study, revision, and practice. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, mental-health, admissions, or any other regulated professional advice.

VeriPrep is not affiliated with any exam board, school, or university. References to qualifications, curricula, or exam boards are for identification purposes only.

4. Your Account

If you create an account, you agree to:

• provide accurate and up-to-date information;
• keep your login credentials secure and confidential;
• notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission;
• use the service only for your own personal study — not on behalf of others unless we permit it.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use VeriPrep to:

• engage in unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity;
• upload or share content that is illegal, hateful, exploitative, or infringes third-party rights;
• upload personal data about other people without a lawful basis;
• probe, scrape, overload, or attempt to bypass the security or safeguards of the service;
• build a competing dataset or bulk-extraction workflow using VeriPrep content without permission.

We may suspend or terminate access if these rules are broken.

6. Your Uploaded Materials

You keep ownership of any documents, notes, or content you upload. By uploading you confirm you own the material or have the rights needed to use it in VeriPrep.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, index, and use your uploads solely to operate and improve the service for you. We do not share your uploads with other users unless you use a feature that clearly enables sharing.

7. Intellectual Property

VeriPrep owns the platform, branding, software, and original content. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service for your own study during the beta period. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit VeriPrep content without written permission.

8. Service Availability

We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the service at any time for operational, legal, security, or product reasons. We will try to give reasonable notice where possible but cannot guarantee uptime or continuity during the beta period.

9. Privacy and Your Data

We collect and use limited personal data to run the service, handle support requests, and improve VeriPrep. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into prompts, uploads, or feedback fields. Our full privacy notice is on the Privacy page.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data as follows:

• Active account and study history: kept while your account is active.
• Inactive accounts: deleted or anonymised within 12 months of last activity.
• Temporary uploads not saved by you: deleted within 90 days.
• Saved uploads and study materials: deleted on request or within 12 months of inactivity.
• Security logs: up to 30 days (longer if required for abuse or legal reasons).
• Backups: rolling 35-day cycle.
• Support and deletion-request records: up to 24 months after closure.

To request deletion of your data, email veriadmin@veri-prep.com. We aim to respond within one month, subject to identity verification and any legal retention obligations.

11. Our Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses caused by your internet connection, your device, third-party services, misuse of the platform, or reliance on AI-generated content without independent verification.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also benefit from mandatory rights under the law of your part of the UK.
